The Techniques Chapter's Binary Interaction Parameters Section uses the Binary Interaction Parameters Data Dialog to view, add, and edit binary interaction parameters. The dialog is activated by clicking the left mouse button on the section's large data table control.

The Data dialog provides controls for displaying parameters, assigning source information, editing parameters, and sorting parameters.

1	Table Control: displays the current list of binary interaction parameters. Each row contains values for component 1, component 2, the key, and the parameter value. Clicking the left mouse button on a table row selects that table row. Clicking and holding the left mouse button down and then dragging the mouse will select several table rows. Double-clicking the left mouse button on a row selects the row and edits the contents of that row.
2	Edit Button: pressing the dialog's Edit button activates the Binary Interaction Parameter edit dialog. See here for documentation.
3	Commands Button: pressing the dialog's Commands button or clicking the right mouse button on the table control displays the commands menu. This menu provides standard commands for copying, pasting, and clearing binary interaction parameters. See the documentation on Common Menu Commands for details.
4	Set Source: activates the Assign References and Comments dialog enabling you to assign a reference an comments to all selected datum rows. See documentation on the Assign References and Comments Dialog for additional details.)
5	Sort Button: the dialog's Sort button will be enabled if two or more rows are selected. Pressing the Sort button will activate the Sort Attribute dialog. This dialog enables you to sort parameters in ascending or descending order by the selected attribute.
6	Add Rows Button: pressing the Add Rows button will add rows to the bottom of the table control.
7	Find: activates the Find Parameter's Component dialog which enables you find a row containing a component whose value matches the entered text.
