The Binary Interaction Parameters Datum Dialog is used to add or edit an individual datum listed in the Binary Interaction Parameters Data Dialog and the Binary Interaction Parameters All Data Dialog. The dialog is activated by clicking the left mouse button on a row in the data table control or selecting a row and pressing the Edit button.
Selecting a table row and pressing the Edit button or double-clicking on a table row activates the Binary Interaction Parameter Edit Dialog. This dialog enables you to enter components, a keyword, a contribution value, a reference and comments.

Component Controls: these two controls enable you to enter values for component 1 and component 2. Both values are required. Typically these values are the names of chemicals. However, they can be any value, e.g., the name of a chemical family. Thus, you could have a binary interaction parameter for a 'strong acid' and a 'primary alcohol'. |
3
|
Interaction Control: enables you to enter a key string used to describe the interaction. Often this is a short string indicating the type of interaction, e.g., 2-1 or 1-2. |
4
|
Parameter Value Control: the numerical value associated with this binary interaction parameter. This is a required value. |
5
|
Value Accuracy Control: used to enter the uncertainty associated with the parameter. This is an optional value but can be very helpful in determining the overall accuracy of an estimation. |
6
|
Reference: the name of the reference from which this contribution was obtained. See documentation on the Choose Reference Dialog for details. |
7
|
List Button: activates the Choose Reference dialog that lists all the references present in the current document. Selecting a reference from the dialog will insert its identifier into the Reference edit control. |
8
|
Comments: information providing additional details about the entered parameter. |
9
|
Date, Phrase, Set Buttons: the Date button inserts the current date and time into the Comments control. The Phrase button inserts the default phrase into the Comments control. The Set button activates the Set Phrase dialog that enables you to change the default comment phrase. (See the documentation on the Set Phrase dialog for details.) |

Show Ref: shows the document associated with the reference cited in the Reference control. |
