Tip: Using the List button ensures consistency

When editing the Source Title field, the Text Edit dialog provides a List button which, when pressed, displays a list of all the source titles in the current document. Selecting a title from this list, instead of typing in a source title, will ensure consistency.

Clicking the left mouse button on the Type Field's value control activates the edit dialog. This dialog enables you to enter the reference type or select from a list of common types. Note: to select from the list of common types, you must first delete any text in the Other Entry edit control.

Create a Bibliographic Entry

The information entered on a reference's page can be used to create a bibliographic entry. Selecting the Create Bibliographic Entry from the Reference Chapter's Commands menu activates the Bibliographic Entry dialog. Viewing the entry created by this command is often a good method for checking the completeness of the entered referene information.
