Chemical Detail Dialog
Applicability: Cranium, Synapse (core versions 0315+)

The Chemical Details Dialog is used throughout Cranium and Synapse to provide additional information about a particular chemical. For example, the Mixtures Chapter uses the dialog to displays details about each of the current mixture's components.

Dialog Controls

The dialog displays molecular structure, constant properties, synonyms, and applications.

1
Chemicals Control: displays the name of the current chemical whose information is being displayed. The control may contain more than one chemical. Clicking the left mouse button on the control displays the list of all chemicals that can be selected.
2
Molecular Structure Control: displays the molecular structure of the current chemical.
3
Property Control: enables you to select the chemical's physical property to be retrieved and displayed.
4
Value Control: displays, if present, the current chemical's value for the selected physical property.
5
Units Control: displays the current units of the selected physical property.
