The Symbol Dialog is available from most edit control menus if the value being edited is a text value. Identifiers, references, comments, notes and synonyms are common values into which special symbols may need to be inserted.

The Symbol dialog is activated by selected the Insert Symbol command found on many edit menus. (A control's edit menu is activated by clicking the right mouse button within the control.)

The Symbol dialog contains a large window displaying symbols that can be inserted. A second window lists the symbols that have been recently used.
