The Pressure Series Dialog is used by the Solubility Estimates Dialog to generate a series of state variables consisting of a fixed solvent, fixed temperature, and pressures varying between specified limits.
The Pressure Series dialog provides controls for specifying a fixed solvent, a fixed temperature, and a range of pressure values.
1
|
Number of Rows Control: displays the number of table rows into which the series values will be pasted. This number is initially equal to number of table rows selected in the estimates dialog. |
2
|
Increment/Decrement Control: enables you to increment or decrement the number of rows into which the series values will be pasted. |
3
|
Fixed Solvent Control: enables you to enter the fixed solvent that will assigned to each state variable set. |
4
|
Find Button: activates the Choose Solvent Dialog which lists the chemicals present in the current document. Selecting a chemical inserts its name into the solvent control. |
5
|
Fixed Temperature Control: enables you to enter the fixed temperature that will assigned to each state variable set. |
6
|
Starting Pressure Control: enables you to enter the lower limit of the generated pressures. |
7
|
Limit Type Control: enables you to select if pressure values will be generated between a starting and ending limit or will be incremented by a specified amount. See below for details. |
9
|
Limit Amount Control: enables you to enter either the upper pressure limit or the increment used to generate pressure values. See below for details. |
Pressure values can be generated between two limits, the starting Pressure and the ending pressure, or by repeatedly incrementing the starting pressure by a specified amount. The dialog's Limit Type control specifies which type of series to generate.
Assuming the number of rows equals 6, the entries to the right would generate pressures of: 50, 70, 90, 110, 130, and 150 kPa.
Assuming the number of rows equals 6, the entries to the right would generate pressures of: 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 kPa.
