The Compile Mixture Property Values Dialog enables you to compile property values from each mixture in the current knowledge base. The dialog enables you to compile data values and estimated values. You can also place constraints on the range of property values to be compiled or on state variable values.
The Compile Mixture Property Values Dialog enables you to select the property to compile, the values' status, and constraints on property values and state variables.
1
Property Control: enables you to select the property whose values will be compiled. |
2
Status Control: enables you to select the status of the values to be compiled. Possible values are Data Only, Estimates Only, Data and Estimates, and Data or Estimates. |
3
Property Value Control: enables you to enter a constraint on the property values being compiled. For example, if you wish to compile only values around 100, you would enter a value of 100 into this control. |
4
Property Range Control: enables you to select the range of values to be compiled. For example, if you wish to select values within 30 units of 100, i.e., values from 70 to 130, you would enter a value of 100 into the Property Value control and a value of 30 into this control. |
5
Property Units Control: enables you to specify the units of the entered property constraint. |
6
Temperature Value Control: enables you to constrain the compilation to only those property values whose temperature is near the entered value. |
7
Temperature Range Control: enables you to constrain the compilation to only those property values whose temperature is within the entered range. For example, if you wish to select values within 5 units of 25, i.e., values from 20 to 30, you would enter a value of 25 into the Temperature Value control and a value of 5 into this control. |
8
Temperature Units Control: enables you to specify the units of the entered temperature constraint. |
9
Pressure Value Control: enables you to constrain the compilation to only those property values whose pressure is near the entered value. |
10
Pressure Range Control: enables you to constrain the compilation to only those property values whose pressure is within the entered range. For example, if you wish to select values within 5 units of 25, i.e., values from 20 to 30, you would enter a value of 25 into the Pressure Value control and a value of 5 into this control. |
11
Pressure Units Control: enables you to specify the units of the entered pressure constraint. |
12
Index Control: enables you to specify the component index for a composition constraint. |
13
X Control: enables you to constrain the compilation to only those property values whose composition (of the indexed component) is near the entered value. |
14
Composition Range Control: enables you to constrain the compilation to only those property values whose composition (of the indexed component) is within the entered range. For example, if you wish to select values within 5 units of 25, i.e., values from 20 to 30, you would enter a value of 25 into the X Value control and a value of 5 into this control. |
15
Composition Units Control: enables you to specify the units of the entered composition constraint. Note that all the composition units will be the same, i.e., if you change one units control the other two units controls will be automatically updated to the new value. |
16
Compile Button: pressing the Compile button begins the property value compilation process. The property values of each chemical in the current knowledge base is examined. Those values that satisfy the entered constraints are analyzed and added to the Compiled Property Values Dialog. |
The Compile Mixture Property Values Dialog displays its results in the Compiled Property Values Dialog. See here for documentation on this dialog.
